CHIEF AMOBI OGAH MOURNS PROFESSOR UCHE IKONNE.
On behalf of Chief Amobi Ogah’s Isukwuato/Umunneochi Federal House of Representatives Campaign Organization and political associates, I received with shock, the demise of the PDP Governorship Candidate in Abia State, Professor Uchenna Eleazar Ikonne who passed on the 25th of January 2023 after a brief illness.
Late Professor Uche Ikonne was an accomplished Professor of Optometry, a University administrator, a politician and above all, an Abian who contributed substantially in every field he ventured into, no doubt, he will surely be missed.
I pray that God Almighty in His infinite mercies will grant his immediate and extended family, political associates, loved ones and Abia State, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May God bless his Soul. Amen.
