The women of Methodist Church Wesley cathedral Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State, have thrown their weight behind the Labour Party candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal House of Rep, Chief Amobi Ogah.
The women who adopted Chief Amobi Ogah noted that amongst all the candidates vying to represent the Federal constituency, Amobi Ogah whom they popularly refered by his Conglomerate name, Pauli Mama, is the only one with a seeable business venture outside politics and the most credible to deliver victory for the people of the constituency.
They decried the daily killings, abduction and poverty which the party of the incumbent House Member have subjected them to. They also lamented that majority of their members who are pensioners are being subjected to none-payment of their pensions and gratuities by the State Government. They therefore wondered if there was justification for any mother to support a party whose candidates have maintained conspiratorial silence in the safe of the ravaging hunger, Killing and kidnaping in Isuikwuato.
Responding, Very Rev Obinna Nwafor who spoke on behalf of the OBIDATI MOVEMENT USA, reminded them to discard the use of cups of rice, wrappers and matches and rather, join Mr Peter Obi to rescue Nigeria by voting for Labour Party.
Chief Amobi Ogah reminded the women that prayers alone cannot salvage Nigeria from the impending disaster if Nigerians fail to wakeup from their sleep and vote for Labour Party’s New Nigeria Agenda. He promised to be a loud and sound voice who will stand for his constituency – Isuikwuato/Umunneochi when elected by 25th February 2023. Highlights of the program were prayer sessions for AMOBI OGAH’s success.
